Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce Testimonials Dear Leslie, I joined the Chamber to become involved in the community that I live in and that I do business in. Since becoming a member I joined the Membership Services Committee and have been elected to the Board of Directors. My involvement in the community has increased significantly since joining the Chamber. Through the Chamber I have met our local politicians and built up a relationship with a couple of them. This has led to joining some political action groups. I have had the opportunity to meet senior bureaucrats at the Town of Richmond Hill . I have also met a large number of business owners in York Region. Through the Chamber I have also found and done business with a key supplier. We have generated sales and referrals sales within the network of the Chamber members. So, 3 years later, I am involved, getting connected and enjoying the Chamber, its functions and events would strongly recommend every business owner to join. Thank You Arun Channan
Dear Leslie, Just a quick note to let you know about a couple of members whom I have worked with in the past year. Monica Bryan at Visual Solutions Monica has helped me rebrand my business. We have changed the name, logo, colours etc. She is creative and has lots of good ideas. She is a pleasure to work with. Dan Johnstone at Beaver Creek Kwik Kopy Design and Print Centre Dan does all my printing. He’s never fazed when I send him over last minute requests. His work is top-notch and he truly makes me look good on paper. He also knows a lot of business leaders and government leaders. His radar is always on to help me create business relationships. Overall, I would like to say that my Chamber membership and the events are definitely worth the small investment. Thank you. Arun Channan myndwerx
Hi Paul,
This was my first year participating in the Oak Ridges Family Fair. In addition to having had lots of fun meeting people from the community, as well as other businesees, I was truly impressed with the staff from The RHCOC and The Lions Club. Everyone was extremely helpful and generous in terms of assisting me with the exhibit, as well as any other questions. I felt very welcome at this event, particularly because you, as well as other staff, went well beyond the call of duty in making sure that my needs were met. I am truly looking forward to participating in the next year's Family Fair, as well as in other events organized by RHCOC. Thank-you for a job well done,
Nelli Hooper York Enrichment Childcare Centre Director
Dear Leslie, This letter is in response to my participation in the Oak Ridges Fair Home Show, which took place on Saturday, June 18th, 2005. I would like to express how satisfied I was with the experience, as well as with the interest from visitors at the show. I received good feedback from potential patrons, and also earned some significant new business from my participation in the show. I have yet to follow up on other potential customers, due to an exceptionally very busy late spring and summer season this year, and anticipate more positive responses. My wife also attended the show with my youngest son and they had a very good time, commenting on the live band, the good variety of activities and booths, as well as the overall friendliness of all the people involved in the show. Mark your agenda, for I will be sure to join the Fair next year, as I feel it was well worth my while to attend it. Kind regards, Peter A. Zonta Business proprietor
I spent the weekend with a nerd! It's not as bad as it sounds. My computer was giving me serious attitude, and my regular computer guy wasn't available, so I called Sandy Jankowski from Nerds on Site. Wow! Anyone who knows me knows I'm a tough one to impress, but this guy was amazing. He came over right away and he didn't shy away when the going got tough, which it did. He kept coming back and made me feel taken care of. He explained stuff to me so well at one point I thought he would have made a great teacher. But most importantly, I felt supported, like I was in good hands. To say that he "went the extra mile" is an understatement. At one point, when I was ready to throw in the technology towel and take up farming in Iowa, he just appeared, out of nowhere, without me even calling, just to see how I was doing. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. Well Iowa will have to do with one less farm girl cause I'm back on my feet and running, thanks to one really neat nerd.

“Duocom certainly stepped up to the plate on short notice to provide us with a rental projector on several occasions for our tenant and client boardroom presentations. We did not hesitate to contact Duocom when we were ready to purchase our new NEC portable projector. Our clients appreciate the opportunity to have use of the new projector for their meetings."
"We were told that joining The Chamber would be beneficial for our business but never realized just how supportive other members would be.
At one of your Open House events, my wife JoAnne and I met Dan Johnstone of Kwik Kopy Richmond Hill South and were very impressed with him.
Thank you Dan for all of your professional and personal help. You can be sure that all our printing business will be directed your way and we are very confident that others we refer to you will receive the same high quality service."
